To Praise or Criticize Obama?

It seems that ever time I write something critical of President Obama, I have to turn right around and congratulate him for something else, and vice versa. The president has changed his mind on releasing more inflammatory pictures of detainee abuse, and now opposes it.  Jake Tapper at ABC reports that the president
"believes their release would endanger our troops," a White House official says, adding that the president "believes that the national security implications of such a release have not been fully presented to the court."
The negative consequences of releasing such photos should have been blatantly obvious to the president. I'm not sure why it took him so long to realize that, or why he would have considered releasing them in the first place. But better late than never. It's good to see that the president isn't afraid to offend the ACLU and other terrorist rights supporters. Hopefully he won't change his mind again.
